Download and install the Ground Station app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .
- Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Ground Station on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Ground Station"
- The search will reveal the Ground Station app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Ground Station is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Ground Station.
- Now enjoy Ground Station on PC.
- Using Ground Station on Mac OS:
Install Ground Station on your Mac using the same steps for Windows OS above.
How to download and use Ground Station App on Windows 11
To get Ground Station on Windows 11, check if there's a native Ground Station Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)
- For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.
- Installing Ground Station:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "Ground Station" » Click "Install" to install Ground Station
- Ground Station will now be available on your windows start-menu.

✔ Pros:
- Works perfectly for older DJI products with Naza V2 or A2 flight control system
- Waypoints feature works great and even better than PC ground station
- No issues encountered while using it on DJI S1000 Plus
☹ Cons:
- Functionality is limited compared to DJI Go app designed for newer DJI products
- Not compatible with newer iOS devices
- Some users have difficulty connecting to their Phantom and have not been able to use it for months

This is not for the phantom.....

I noticed people complaining about this not working on Phantoms, unless you are running an original phantom with a naza v2 installed along with the 2.4 dji link ( which is a separate piece of hardware for older systems) or the A2 flight control system it won't do anything. This app works perfectly for the product it is design d to support. It's functionality is limited as compar d to the dji go app, which is designed for the newer dji products. It's sad that people can't even research the gear they want to put overhead.

What a great app. It does what it says
I tested the waypoints and works great
Even better than PC this app.
wish It could get even better features
but all good I never had any Issues with
It and using this on the DJI S1000 Plus
and works perfect!. you pilots needs
To stop complaining, whining about
how it should work and it really does.
personally, I love this App so, forget
the other ppl who doesn't.

App will now open on my iPad, but won’t connect

I guess it’s better since it won’t crash now, but I still can’t connect to my phantom. I bought my phantom 2 weeks after updating my iPhone and iPad, so I haven’t been able to use it even once. In months. Very disappointing. Can’t say I’d recommend a DJI product to anyone at this point.
