Install Rest Client app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Rest Client on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Rest Client"
The search will reveal the Rest Client app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Rest Client is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Rest Client.
Now enjoy Rest Client on PC.

Needs tabs

I like this application a lot. My biggest frustration is that I cannot have multiple windows or tabs open at the same time. I need this frequently so I can take the results of one request and copy them into another request as parameters. Other than that it's great.
Handy tool for the API developer.

I needed a tool for quickly checking responses from an api that required basic authentication. This tool fits that function well and it will be my goto recommendation for now. A couple of the downsides are already commented. It’s in need of a visual refresh (very stock app) and the addition of tabs would be welcome.

Fantastic, but hangs often

Try switching around menus after a request has completed and the application will hang for no apparent reason and takes a few //minutes// for it to gain functionality.
