  • Rich Text Review

    By Diannamuircastle (Pcmac user)

This is the best app in the App Store that will let you edit the app Text files in DropBox or on your own device, but I did not give it a full five stars for a few reasons. 1. When editing a RTF file in DropBox with someone who uses Windows, opening this app will cause many lines of strange text to appear. 2. Deleting this text, as well as making other editing changes, is time-consuming and difficult using VoiceOver in this app. Simply selecting linesto delete is not easy to do; I often end up deleting character-by-character, from the end of the file backwards. All this said, I use this app and even enjoy it to some extent, because it is the best app in the app store for editing RTF files.
  • Very nice app

By LAN the horrible (Pcmac user)

This app has a clean UI that is a joy to use. In particular I like the way it handles file management in my Dropbox. All files save back in Dropbox (not on my iPhone) so I avoid having two versions of my doc. I also like that it doesn't require its own folder. It now allows you to enter a TAB, and it has some arrow keys that make it easier to navigate your doc. Five stars because of the nice UI and because it covers all the bases, at least for me. The dev did respond to my e-mail and fix the things I pointed out. He was slow, but he got it done.
  • File jumps when exiting

    By Starboss9 (Pcmac user)

I have hundreds of files in this system. I think it’s really valuable. One annoying feature is when you exit a particular file it jumps to an entirely different section causing you to have to return to the section you were at. That’s annoying when searching for a particular file under the same alphabetical letter. Wastes time. Also a file search index would be helpful. Click on an alphabetical letter and it then jumps to that letter. Would save some time.
  • Useless to me

    By Chris2945001 (Pcmac user)

Useless. Unfortunately, once this app loads a file, it retains that file “as is” and only changes made within the the app Text are accessible. Changes made to that file from external programs are not and cannot be into brought the app Text and the refresh function does not update to the latest revisions. The only way I have found to pick these up would be to save the file elsewhere each time and load it as a different file. This is not an acceptable manner of dealing with files. I emailed to the company over a week ago, but got back not response. As it current exists, the app is completely unusable to me.
