All My Movies for Pc

Only a portion of my collection shows up and I export after every time I add titles on PC. Wish there was a way to add titles while using the app especially since there are apps to scan a barcode, it would make sense. Fix those two issues and this becomes a 4.5/5

This app is very basic and not very useful except as a portable list of your movies with cover pictures. I didn't expect to be as disappointed in this app as I am. What I like: - I like that I can sync/update the app directly through iTunes - no need to create an account and have your movie list stored on their servers. for those on expensive or limited bandwidth or those with privacy concerns, this is a huge improvement over other apps. - For others, this does allow a sync to their servers so you can sync the device directly through the cloud. - The listings include the app the information recorded in the desktop program. - app is fast and responsive - the app looks good. The details page is a dark blue - a nice soothing color and it isn't the standard white. - for cloud syncing, the desktop only syncs when you instruct it, so no wasted bandwidth in the background - when exporting for manual or cloud back-up, you can either export the entire collection or just those titles that have changed since the last sync. What I don't like: - for cloud syncing: * you don't get to choose your password (not a terribly big deal) * your password info is sent via unsecured e-mail, so anyone can intercept it. - this app is only good as a fancy list that could reasonably duplicated in other, multi-use apps . - While in the desktop version has multiple ways to sort your collection and the details of movies, actors, and characters, the app has nothing. You can't click on a character name and be shown the app the movies in which the character occurs, you can't sort by actor, you don't see any information for an actor. - You can't add movies directly via the app. There is no support for entering movies either by scanning or manual input. - You can't mark movies as "watched", "wanted", or "seen". - the price is much too steep for what this app does. - limited details normally recorded in the desktop version. Considering the lack of function and the fact that it is only useful if you have the desktop version of the software, this app should be free. If they add more functions to this app (add movies, scanning ability), I would rate this app much higher and be willing to spend some money on it. I was really looking forward having a companion app to the desktop version. At $5+for a glorified list, I feel like I just got ripped off.
