Northmark for Pc

I really enjoyed this game quite a bit. Pros: - Love the rpg / story / card battle integration. Very nicely executed. - Enjoyable visuals. - Addictive rpg elements makes it hard to put down. Cons: - Needs a better tutorial. I wasn't completely sure what was going on during combat, nor did I realize I needed to click on the tiny icons in the town views. But once figured out, it's a very easy-to-use interface. - The writing was littered with basic grammar and sentence structure issues. - It took me 6 hours to beat the game, and I'm a total completionist. A game this short should NOT be priced at $8. This is easily my biggest complaint and the only real reason I didn't rate it 5 stars.

The game is very short for $7.99. $2.99 is a better price. Fortunately, I discovered that the game unlocks (for free) when you click on the option in the game to have it verify that you've purchased the game. If you do that, the game is completely unlocked. The game will unlock itself for the current session. So as for the game itself - not good. Lots of typos, lots of colloquial modern speech in a fantasy setting. There's about 30-40 plot encounters, and a few arenas to play. It's entertaining, but again, way too short for something priced at $8.

I've downloaded a lot of RPGs and a lot of card battle games from the App Store. This is one of the best in either genre! I appreciate the ability to try it for free. The free limit is plenty to know if you like it enough to pay the four dollars. There are no other IAPs in this game and I appreciate that. Pros: High quality storyline, well written. I like the graphics. Simple but nice, some images are quite artistic. Nice card battle mechanism where you can collect cards, customize your deck, play as different characters to try different strategies. Customize your hero stats as you level up. Simple interface that I like - its casual and strategic rather than frenzied swiping/poking at the iPad. It's more like an old fashioned rpg/d&d with a new twist rather than an action game with a rpg veneer. This is good. And I can play as a girl. Thank you! Drawbacks: I don't care for the treasure chests with a riddle to open them. I'm worried the game might be too short - looks like Im a third of the way through the number of lands to explore after several hours of playing? Took me a while to figure out how to click correctly on the cards in and out of battle. Now it makes sense but wasn't intuitive for me for some reason. Wish List: More customization of hero - maybe equipment you can buy or something. Random events/different endings. Longer game. I look forward to updates and would pay a dollar or two for future chapters. And more girl characters please, though maybe with a bit less cleavage :)

lot's to do in this game and lots of fun! very well designed game, smooth gameplay with excellent graphics. i bought the full game and now play this more than others. I highly recommend this game, it has a lot to offer. i might add the devs are very good at responding to email.
