Install ChouChou: Virtual Hair Try-on app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using ChouChou on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "ChouChou"
- The search will reveal the ChouChou: Virtual Hair Try-on app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once ChouChou is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including ChouChou.
- Now enjoy ChouChou on PC.

- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use ChouChou,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "ChouChou" » then Click "Install".
- ChouChou: Virtual Hair Try-on will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

✔ Pros:
- The app has an in-app camera that automatically finds the user's face and lets them try on different hairstyles.
- The app animates the user's face to enhance the new look appraisal.
- The ads at the bottom of the app are not too intrusive.
☹ Cons:
- There is no way to save the video or gif created using the app.
- The app crashed on the user the first time they used it.
- The app has limited tries.
- The app only places fake-looking hair over a picture uploaded by the user and does not allow editing of the hairstyle.

Amazing!

this app works great, although I found no way to save. From the in-app camera, I take a selfie; it automatically finds my face and lets me try on a hairstyle and animates my face—like the live makeup apps but for hairstyles. Ads at the bottom aren’t too intrusive. Wish I knew how to save a video or gif.

Literally pointless

I found this app in an article when I searched about trying to find out what you’d look like with different colored hair. This app didn’t provide that at all though. Just placed fake looking weird hair over a picture you uploaded of yourself. You can’t even edit the “wig” looking thing it puts over your head so it always looked absolutely ridiculous because it put it on my head way too small.

I only make the effort to rate awesome apps!! This one is amazing!! It only crashed on me the first time but other than that it has a virtual look!! Doesnt look cartoony and the only thing i hope is that they add MORE MORE MORE hairstyles!! This app rocks! They make ur eyes move to enhance the look.. it surprised me! :D More hairstyles please!! I love this app :) oh, and if u are going to use a pic from ur album..use one that has ur hair pulled back so that the wigs fit better and ur real hair doesnt stick out..u can also take a pic instead :)
