Software Features and Description

1. Find out your current location on the Gauß-Krüger-Koordinatensystem (Gauss–Krüger Coordinate System), the mapping reference system in use in Germany.

2. When continued usage is required, you can set the iPhone Screen to stay on indefinitely, from the Settings tab.

3. * - Internet Connection, and correctly configured Text Message (or iMessage), Email and / or Twitter settings, required to fulfil.

4. The app will provide you your Gauß-Krüger Reference number, along with your current compass bearing.

5. This app requires Location Services to be enabled in your iPhone, and you must grant permission to the app to use these.

6. Not compatible with iPod Touch, or (non-cellular) iPads, due to the lack of GPS and Compass hardware.

7. Always carry a physical compass and map in addition to your iPhone.

8. Like a traditional compass, use with the phone in a flat position, not upright.

9. The accuracy of the device reading is also shown on screen.

10. Will work worldwide, but intended for use only in Germany and surrounding territories.

11. Great for walkers, climbers, cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts.

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "German Grid Ref Compass"
The search will reveal the German Grid Ref Compass app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once German Grid Ref Compass is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including German Grid Ref Compass.
