If you want to install and use the Quizlet Flashcards app on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use Quizlet Flashcards for your computer in 4 simple steps below:

Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software here

Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac

Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.

Step 3: Quizlet Flashcards for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type Quizlet Flashcards in the search bar and press Search. Click on Quizlet Flashcards application icon. A window of Quizlet Flashcards on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the Quizlet Flashcards icon. Click on it and start using the application.

Step 4: Quizlet Flashcards for Mac OS

Hi. Mac user!
The steps to use Quizlet Flashcards for Mac are exactly like the ones for Windows OS above. All you need to do is install the Nox Application Emulator or Bluestack on your Macintosh. The links are provided in step one

  • amazing!! but not a one-time payment for extra features

    By Smile Gal 01293874
I love Quizlet so much! I use it for almost all of my classes to study with (memorizing square roots for math, learning vocabulary for english, memorizing the organelles for biology, etc.). Whenever my friends make, like, fifty hand-made flash cards I just laugh, pull out my phone, and tell them to try Quizlet! I am so lazy and hate to make hand-made flash cards. It’s so easy to just type or copy/paste definitions. I’m also participating in state science contests and have made probably fifty sets for everything I need to know. 😂 The various learning methods are really great. I usually use the regular flash cards or the “learn” option. “Learn” is really cool, because it repeats things you get wrong and focuses on what you need to learn, so you can get everything faster. One thing that I don’t like is the monthly subscription for extras like pictures, diagrams, scanning documents, etc. I would totally buy it if it was a one-time payment (my parents don’t like me to buy subscriptions). :( Quizlet is still really useful without the extras, though. They’re not necessary for studying, just cool things to make your experience better. I also don’t like how spelling counts on tests. Could there be an option for that?

I really like this app. Memorization isn’t a strength of mine, and I generally don’t bother quizzing myself, but this makes it very easy and kind of fun. I can study in quick sessions during the day (like while waiting in line) and easily review before bed. I usually avoid paying for apps, but the pro version was definitely worth it. Why only four stars? I’ve had some trouble creating study sets in the order I want (they seem to randomly jump around when I’m entering them) and worse, I don’t see any way to move them around once entered. I would like to be able to drag them up/down on the list to group items. It’s really frustrating to create a list, then find out that a bunch of them are in odd places. (I do like the random-order feature for studying though.) Two other options that would be nice (but didn’t affect my rating) would be a search feature for finding specific items in the list, and an audio feature. There’s an audio play of the terms, but I would like to embed sounds with the pictures. I have lists of birds, and it would be nice to hear the song/call while looking at the image. I don’t know anything about making apps though, and those features might be extremely difficult or impossible.
  • Great with one glaring, obnoxious (and easily fixed) flaw

    By mrpandaa
Quizlet is a life-saver for studying, especially when in a crunch and you need to get terms down really fast. The app is simple and works really quickly and well. Quizlet Plus appears to be well worth the money, although I haven’t tried it so I don’t know. I like how it’s an option but the company doesn’t shove it down your throat all the time *coughGooglecough* But it has own glaring and super annoying flaw: the “I made a typo!” in Learn mode button is tiny!! It’s so easy to miss, and if you do miss it, there’s no going back — the algorithm thinks you don’t know that card for the rest of that Learn cycle. I really hate this, because it’s a huge waste of my time to go over a card that I know but just typed wrong. And it’d be a really easy fix; just use the same button as the “Check it” button and size it down a bit. The old Learn didn’t have this problem, just saying. And quick suggestion: it’d be really nice if we could follow other users to know when they made a new set.
  • 4 stars Quizlet is great!

    By 123boom!$!😊😎
Let’s just say that quizlet has made me a great student. It helps the most in subjects that you have to memorize things for a test a.k.a science and history. The match feature is great because it’s super quick and you can compete against classmates. Another feature that is great is the learn feature because it determines what things you need to study and what you don’t. The best thing on quizlet is how simple it is to make a “set.” You can literally search any topic at all and it will come up. Then you just press copy and your done! You can also make your own sets! The things that I don’t like about quizlet is when your using the test feature spelling counts so if you get the answer right but spell it wrong you get it wrong. They should add a spelling doesn’t count setting because I rarely use it for spelling/grammar tests. Overall this app is great because you can share your sets, use all your sets for finals, make a set in a minute and it is super easy to make an account! I will bow down to the quizlet gods.

  • It’s being used as a weapon

    By 7/3/18
So ever since I dealt with school having autism on my back my teachers hated me. I have to do tons of studying and I mean it. I’m up till about 11:40 at night. They like to use Quizlet as a weapon against me also. As well as my toxic mother and anyone else who wants to see me suffer in school. I think the app is fine. I think it is very successful but people take advantage. It’s hard struggling in school and having to do 8 lessons for 5 hours on Quizlet I just don’t want people to be able to use this app as a weapon against others and I think there should’ve been some sort of security system for the app. To organize maybe classes for teachers and their students. I think these classes should have security and only people invited to a class are allowed to study there. I also think that if a student is studying in a class for over an hour and they are doing fine the whole time that they should be kicked off the lesson to give them a well needed break. I hate to have to write this review but I don’t want people to use it the wrong way.

Overall an amazing study tool, I use it a ton for everything! One thing, I wish capitalization didn’t matter on tests and stuff.

Quizlet is the best for studying methods tbh. I’ve been using it for the past 3 years now and I just love it. I love the new feature when creating your own quizlet. If you type in the term it will find the definition for you. Super helpful!! Only thing I would change about the app is the matching. Having a Time and non-time version

  • I’m trying to study but

    By SansTheDoge
The terms banished the words/questions mostly after I’m done editing and adding new words with definitions and new question with answers... mostly on terms, questions and words are vanished after I’m done editing.. I’m sick of going back to fix it again... that waste my time.. is this kind of glitch ?
  • So helpful!

    By Gabikapp
It’s so fast to put together lots of terms and the study options are so helpful. It’s really made to be useful and optimize your study time. I wouldn’t have gotten through Med Term without it!
