1. App overview – The George Institute Food Data Collector App helps users scan barcodes of food items and take photos of the nutritional information on the packaging.

2. Images are transmitted to The George Institute for data entry and processing.

3. Data is collected within a defined work program with a view to undertake research to improve the health of millions.

4. After scanning the barcode of a packaged food product, follow the app prompts to take photos of the product as required.

5. The DCA is only available for use after consultation with The George Institute.

6. Please ensure location services are switched on to update the location automatically.

Using Data Collector on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Data Collector"
The search will reveal the Data Collector app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Data Collector is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Data Collector.
Now enjoy Data Collector on PC.
