Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Folder Compare"
The search will reveal the Folder Compare app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Folder Compare is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Folder Compare.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

✔ Pros:

- The app has a Lite version that provides a quick thumbs-up or thumbs-down result for a directory tree.

- The Full version allows for file comparison and has pull-down menus for additional options.

☹ Cons:

- The Lite version is limited in its functionality and does not provide detailed results.

- The Full version may freeze and require force quitting when encountering errors.

- The app is not suitable for comparing a large number of files and directories.

- The tool cannot compare the contents of files, only the folders.

- The app is considered a waste of money and time by the reviewer.

If i wanted to move/compare one file at a time this would be an ok compare. If you have a lot of files and directories go somewhere else.
Doesn’t compare contents

This tool cannot compare the contents of the file. It just can compare the folders.

First, I’d like to point out that the “Lite” version was pitiful; it only gave a thumbs-up, thumbs-down result for a whole directory tree. Then after that, you’re given the option to update, which I did, because I had a big comparison that I needed to see… Turns out that the app didn’t save any data for the “full” version to check. This wasn’t some dinky the app check; it was 2.5 real days of non-stop comparison (yeh, 3.2 TB takes a while). My beefs with the “Full” version is: On the first error encountered, the app locked-up and had to force quit it because it wouldn’t honor the “cancel” button or the “quit” menu item. Even after I restarted, with not error condition, the “cancel” and “quit” functionality didn’t work. I just think that for $5, the “cancel” and “quit” functionality should work. I may have another beef when I get done with the next 2.5 day comparison, but that doesn’t compute here.
Garbage!

What a waste of money and time. Stubbornly will not do what I need, even though pull down menus say it should. Clumsy. Junk.
