Install DesiGN for iBooks - Templates app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:

Using DesiGN on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "DesiGN"
The search will reveal the DesiGN for iBooks - Templates app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once DesiGN is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including DesiGN.
Now enjoy DesiGN on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use DesiGN,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "DesiGN" » then Click "Install".
- DesiGN for iBooks - Templates will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

I know some people had problems (and 1 person complains that all templates for iBooks are all the same) but sometimes additional starting places (fonts, colors, heading styles) are nice to have. For each of these I was able to easily launch them into iBooks Author through this application, then save each different template as new. Now all of these show up in iBooks Author under “My Templates” (I coded the start of the names with “TiBAF” so I knew where they came from) and now I’m going to delete this app. I had no issues and it is nice to have some different things for inspiration.
Only one template

Maybe I'm not sure what a template is, but what I have seen with these and and with the ones that come with IBook Author, there is only one template to choose from. They have different pictures and different titles, but the layout is all the same. There is really no other option to choose from. To make any modifications is really limited.
