Censorship. Not good for newspapers or in newspapers

I am now wondering why the this app continues to have an Opinion Page in their online subscription issues. Most articles from nationally syndicated authors have a headline, and some a nice picture, but most do not contain an article. Absolutely no content. I advocate freedom of the press and absolutely do not believe that the press is the enemy of the people. It saddens me that the editorial board of the regional newspaper for rural West Tennessee would stoop to censoring the content of their own paper.
Push notifications ridiculous

The app’s settings don’t work. I have turned on for news and weather only – all I get are stupid sports updates! As if I care what the Vols score is! What a waste. They print pictures of community events from over a year ago (as if it’s a ‘current’ event. Nothing is local anymore. Yesterday’s news tomorrow—well, unless it’s a high school or college football game!

Am enjoying seeing the news on my phone at a time when the newspaper industry is in a transition phase. The Sun is doing a good job and I appreciate how they are adapting to the electronic media format.
A bit dated

The App works fine. Your stories are dated by a couple days. It’s more of a historic book than breaking news. Your streaming of breaking news has help offset your print edition.
