Useful Great App- Needs Improvement
By BexPdx (Pcmac user)
I like this application and it works really well for studying.
However, it'd be nice if there was an option to check off whether or not you want that card to be seen again while studying.
I have to continually skip through cards I know very well to get to the ones I don't know as well, where I'd rather just be able to take them out of that pile without having to delete them.
Not only that, but I think adding more personalization would be great--i.e. fonts, colors, etc. And some cards I have a lot of information that doesn't fully fit on that card, so maybe a scrolling option would be a good idea, that or just simply smaller font choices.
Thank you!

Maybe too simple...
By Papaw tree (Pcmac user)
The good: Very easy to use, good for the app stuff and short answers
The bad: You cannot print the cards (Print function is unavailable and Ctrl-P gives you the error ping), the Mac app does not have an equivalent for the iphone so you cannot transfer the cards to your iphone (that would have been nice!), the size of the cards are unchangeable and you cannot scroll to view more, you cannot change the font or the size of the font, the window for the card is not expandable (really??) so if you put more information than the card can show in the viewable area, you are out of luck, most Command shortcuts do not work (like print, copy, paste,…) and you have to go through the standard menu at the top (yes, even though this is 2012).

When they say “simple”, they mean it
By Pikklez (Pcmac user)
There’s not much to say about the app because it doesn’t do much. It would be nice if there was just a bit more functionality, like the ability to have longer questions (headers), the ability to put cards that you don’t want to review into a separate pile, and the ability to quickly combine multiple stacks.
I mean I know it’s supposed to be the app, but it would be nice to have at least as much functionality as if I were making real flash cards

Good app with great potential
By SomeListener!!! (Pcmac user)
First this is "the app" flash card application. So I would not expected more then basic functionality. It is easy and very helpful, and does not cost much.
But there are some features the developer needs to implement to make it five star.
First keyboard shortcuts, Navigation is not natural, you need to click next button instead using the keyboard left and right arrows. Saving and entering new lines is not natural.
Second being able to see and change the cards in list view will really make this app shine.
