Install Augment - 3D Augmented Reality app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:

Using Augment on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Augment"
The search will reveal the Augment - 3D Augmented Reality app icon. Open, then click "Install".

✔ Pros:

- Easy to use for clients, just need to take home a catalog with the targets

- Great for displaying 3D models, especially those converted from Solidworks

- Potential for tracking and annotating parts in the 3D model

- Realistic objects

☹ Cons:

- Inability to align models to multiple targets, limiting functionality for tabletop RPGs

- Cannot video record what is being viewed

- Objects augmented in the app do not move or scale with the camera, limiting interactivity and causing frustration for some users.

Glitches! Dumb glitches!

Fantastic, the realistic objects but almost everything I this app just floats where my camera was, even if I move, it still just floats and I can’t move it or scale it, I can’t do anything to it. Please fix this, it makes me me so angry. Please fix this!
A new dimension to marketing

This is an awesome app/service that will truly add a new dimension to marketing our products. We are able to gone two dimension and one step closer to holographic visualization. The software is easy enough for our clients and all they have to do is take home one of our catalogs at trade shows. I think the tracking has potential and look forward with the ability to annotate parts in the 3d model.

First of all, I love the app! I cannot get enough of it. I've been thinking about using it for a tabletop RPG, like Dungeons and Dragons, by hooking my iPad to a monitor and using this to portray the characters and the 3D world. However, there are some things that limit this kind of functionality. For instance, you can only make models align to one target. I want the players to be able to move their characters freely using cards or something, yet only one card can be used to move every model. Second of all, models always collide with each other. If it were possible, make an option menu to disable the collision detection, thus making it possible to make models move about a city or field, instead of simply colliding with the world model. Again, I love this app and the awesome things it does, but in order for people to truely realize its potential, there needs to be some kind of no-collide and multiple target support.

This app works great for displaying your own 3D models as well. Converted from Solidworks, my models can be held in my hand with the wallet targets, very cool for a customer to view it from every angle! One recommendation would be the ability to video record what you're viewing... This would allow someone holding a target to explain a product while holding it "virtually" in their hand! Good app!
