What is shake2u?

Shake2u is an app that allows you to send files, photos, and contact information instantly to your friends without the need for email. The app uses WiFi or Bluetooth to establish a connection between two iPhones/iPad/iPod Touch devices by shaking them together. Shake2u also offers security features that allow you to control whether your friends can save or redistribute the files you send.

Great way to transfer between apple products

I got this app to share photos between my iPhone and iPad for photo editing when wifi was not available. However, the process is much faster than Dropbox or email that I use this exclusively...great product, a must have if you like to share files between apple products.

This is just what I was looking for in a file sharing app. It's fast, reliable, and works with iphone and ipad. This is great for me because I like to transfer webpages to my (wifi only) ipad when I'm away from an internet connection. I do this by first downloading the webpage using iCabMobile, then transfer using (bluetooth) this app. Works perfect!!!

Only after promising to transfer file over wifi or bluetooth way at the bottom does it have what file it am transfer. Only after reading it all, did I find out you can't transfer certain photo or video files. So of that is your intent (as it was mine) when I bought this app, stop now!!
