What is Slideshow Remote?

Slideshow Remote® is an app that combines two great tools in a single app: the most advanced remote control for Windows PowerPoint and a brand new Keynote and PowerPoint mobile viewer. It allows you to control your PC, transfer files with iTunes (Mac and Windows), open presentations attached to emails, view your slides, display on HDTV and share via AirPlay. The app has a free Lite version and a Pro version available as an in-app purchase.

2. Slideshow Remote requires Microsoft Windows (XP/Vista/7/8/10) or Mac OS X (10.8), Microsoft PowerPoint (2003/2007/2010/2013/2016) and our free Logic Server.

3. You can control your PC, transfer files with iTunes (Mac and Windows), open presentations attached to emails, view your slides, display on HDTV and share via AirPlay.

4. Get the most advanced remote control for Windows PowerPoint.

5. External display requires a compatible monitor, Apple VGA adaptor and an iPad/iPhone 4/iPod touch 4th generation.

6. Slideshow Remote is easy-to-use and offers more features than any other similar apps or traditional USB remotes.

7. Automatic connection requires Bonjour for Windows installed with iTunes.

8. Slide download requires Logic Server.

9. If you’re not connected to a Wi-Fi base station, you can create a “computer-to-computer” ad hoc network.

10. AirPrint requires iOS 4.2 and a compatible printer.

11. You will need a working Wi-Fi connection between your iPhone and your computer.

Shortcoming

The shortcoming in the app is when using a mac to present from. I like to see all my formatting of notes, which work fine if using a PC, but is lost when using a Mac. Hope this gets corrected to make it a worthwhile app.

Works exactly as it is supposed to. I was getting ready to purchase a PowerPoint remote when I found this app. It saved me a few dollars and is way better as well. The slide preview and being able to see the notes on my iPhone are especially helpful. One other app I tried could never find my computer, but with this one it was never a problem. It's simple, easy to operate, and it works. That's all I ever want in any app.
First very upset because I can't get it to work, but now very happy :)

At first I am really upset with this app. I can't get my device to connect to logic server or wait for a very long time to let it connect. But now I figure it out why and it work great!! If anyone have the same problem with me, I recommend that you turn off your antivirus. And if it still doesn't work, I suggest to turn personal firewall off.
Useful Application

I work with presentations on a daily basis and found this app to be the best on the market so far. One issue I have is some slides have text overlapping and I cannot resolve the problem. I hope some can assist? Definitely recommended app.
