Perfect for parents

As my baby is the first grandchild for my parents and my in laws, I was having to text a picture to a dozen people a day. My sister in law showed me this app a week ago and my only complaint is that she waited until my son was almost 3 months old to tell me about it. I don’t like posting pictures of my baby on Facebook and several of my older family members (my parents and grandparents) aren’t on social media but since they have an email address I can add them to my baby’s the app. Then I can post pictures that everyone I want to see them sees instantly. My dad loves being able to scroll through all of the pictures and see how much the baby has changed how old the baby was on that day. As an added bonus, I ran out of storage in iCloud and needed somewhere to store my 350 pictures and this was a great way to make sure I didn’t lose any pictures when I had to get my iPhone repaired.

This app is *wonderful* and I use it often and my whole family loves it. But I rarely invite anyone to view the photos, because many of my friends and relatives do not know how to disable notifications, and this app sends more notifications than any other app of any kind that I’ve ever seen since I started using an iPhone many years ago. For some folks, I’ve invited them to view photos and also sent them instructions on how to stop all the notifications. But this shouldn’t be necessary. The default shouldn’t be to receive quite so many notifications, and the option to silence or limit them should be more clearly marked. That’s why the app loses 3 stars. Less important but definitely worth mentioning: I also would appreciate the ability to download the photos *with comments and captions and likes preserved*. This could be done by writing that info into the metadata. Without this option, the memories preserved in those comments and captions etc. will be lost forever if I ever stop using the app. And this app is, in part, about preserving memories.
Amazing...would like 1 more feature...

This app is wonderful. Super easy to use and gives you the privacy you want while sharing your little ones life. I would love if the app could make a small update which I don’t think would be too time consuming. As the account owner I would love to be able to control more of the users access. We have some members who feel the need to comment each time a picture is posted even though they have been asked not to. Every time a post or comment happens I get an alert. I want to see any new pics but don’t need to see someone commenting on them. In the app it looks like that is a feature but unfortunately it’s not an option to change. I would love to give certain members view only access and no comments, very much like a google doc allows you to change access to those viewing. Otherwise the app is wonderful!

My daughter & son-in-law chose not to post photos of their babies on social media and use the app instead. I can use it on all my devices simultaneously - my laptop, iPad, and iPhone. I always have the best and most recent photos of the grandchildren at a glance without having to dig through my hodgepodge of photos of other people, places & things on my devices. Also, my personal collection always includes not-so-excellent shots that I can't bear to delete. The photos my kids share on the app are always the best of the lot and always enjoyable. I've never had any technical problems! I can view videos, add wisecrack comments, "love" my favorites, and add my own shots from any of my devices easily. I particularly like the feature that alerts me when a new photo or comment is added. It's a brilliant idea and I cant imagine life without the app now.
