If you want to install and use the Minecraft app on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use this app for your computer in 4 simple steps below:
Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac
Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App >> . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .
Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac
Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.
Step 3: for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10 / 11
Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type Minecraft in the search bar and press Search. Click on Minecraftapplication icon. A window of Minecraft on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the icon. Click on it and start using the application.
Step 4: for Mac OS
Hi. Mac user!
The steps to use Minecraft for Mac are exactly like the ones for Windows OS above. All you need to do is install the Nox Application Emulator or Bluestack on your Macintosh. The links are provided in step one

Skins aren’t working
By CatComicsPro (Pcmac user)
I love Minecraft. I’ve been playing it for a long time now. I know you most likely won’t read this but I have one thing that you REALLY need to fix. Ever since the most recent update, I haven’t been able to change into custom skins as easily as before. I can change into them but it’s weird. I can only change into one normal skin, and one slim skin. If I try to change after picking a skin... well I can’t. When it asks if I want my skin to be normal or slim it keeps the skin I was before on screen, forcing me to pick it. If I want to change my skin sometimes I have to leave the game completely. This is really annoying when trying to role-play with friends. My friend also complained about the skins not working. I hope this just a small glitch in the system, but I’m not sure it is. Not sure if other people are having problems with this, other than my friend and I, but I just wanted to say something about it. Hopefully this will be fixed soon. Also I’m not sure I like how you can customize skins on Minecraft. The options available aren’t very creative. All the girl hair, in my opinion, looks off. Also you don’t get much freedom to make a skin because a lot of it you have to pay for. I dunno, the whole change with the skins is driving me nuts. While the updates in the game are beyond amazing, I don’t like how you changed how the skins work. It was fine how it was. Please fix this miner mistake. (Pun intended)

Minecraft is great but ...
By gfuydjyjojre (Pcmac user)
I really love Minecraft but there are a lot of things i would add to the game for example all 16 colors of sea lanterns red stone lamps torches lanterns and red stone torches for different themes of buildings maybe a white red stone lamp for a modern build next more action to the sky maybe crows eagles sparrows wrens puffins seagulls and magpies for example you can tame crows with all the food items except meat and they would stand on your shoulder like a parrot but also on your head and maybe do the same for parrots except the food but crows would bring you over world food for you only crops and bread though and do the same for seagulls but they can only bring you fish and some treasures which you can get with a fishing rod but they would only bring you treasures once a minecraft day the same for crows but only treasures you can find in villages this would be a useful mechanic because you could follow both of them to either a beach or a village and the crow would actually take things from villager chests once the treasures run out they would go to a different village to look for more and also please add in game maps which you can turn off or put in different corners of the screen and be able to put markers with names like a village you marked after you followed your crow and you could add armor to dogs and cats and they could fight for you and finally add a water bar and temperature bar if you get to cold or hot you start taking damage.
Beautiful Game, But One Issue.
By JaidenXMetilda (Pcmac user)
Please don’t get me wrong, Minecraft is a WONDERFUL game! There’s so much things to do to keep yourself occupied and, you get to chose what to do next. You can build, fight, and do all sorts of things. There’s dungeons, villages, dimensions, and more biomes. The only thing is, there’s a despawning glitch that keeps on happening. Especially with my horses. I’d be riding my horse and say I get out of the app for a split second. I go back in as it loads, and all of a sudden, once I get back in, my horse disappears! It’s super irritating because you lose your saddle, and horse armor if you have it on. I had a horse that was SUPER fast. I was talking to a friend once and he disconnected on the call. He calls back and I accept. But then my horse despawns when Minecraft loads in. I believe this happens in Java edition too. But please fix this issue if you can, and even the whole despawning issue in the first place. I don’t know what’s up with despawning in the game, and it gets super annoying. And it’s also my tamed animals that’re despawning, and not some less valuable cows or chickens or other unloyal animal.
So my conclusion is: This is a great game and one of my favorites. But I don’t want to keep getting horses just for them to despawn, losing my stuff on that horse and my transportation. I really think you should try to disable despawning completely with any animal. It would probably really help out the game development.
Thanks Notch :)

i love minecraft, i’ve been playing for about 4 years now, and i’m still obsessed. but it’s been so long yet we haven’t had huge things added. i think we need more way more things we can use as blocks, much more food and animals. there is so much more animals & food that can be added, such as: owls, wolfs, otters, sharks, whales, ants, giraffes, lions, tigers, panthers, etc.. as for foods we should get things like: rice, beans, peas, strawberries, mango, coconuts, pizza, etc.. and even food for you pets. and more things for pets, leashes ,collars, beds, toys, more actions for them as well. i was even thinking about adding a new biome for mythical creatures such as dragons, manticores, hydras, dinosaurs. it would be soooo cool and awesome to have amazing things like these. and can we please change how the villagers look like. it’s been the same for so long you don’t pay enough attention to them. and more things should be added, like: nightstands, couches, ovens refrigerators, etc.. don’t just add it to mods. you already have to pay for the game why do we have to pay for more things that can just be regulary added without no mods & addons. im just saying because for the amount of years i’ve played and we still don’t have these is kinda unbelievable. i know you work hard, but these small things can cause such big impacts and make the game more than just 100x more fun, literally. please take this into consideration. thank you ☺️
