Top Pcmac Reviews

  • Very Helpful, but not Functional on a Mac

    By MitchellKyle (Pcmac user)

This App is really really awesome in terms of the anatomical take. The 3D views and the ability to cut away, and the information on each the app is great! It is a very helpful study tool and is a must for anyone studying this field. However, it is greatly lacking functionality and ease of use on the Mac. Here are some problems I have run into. 1. Glitches while using the quiz feature. It will do the first couple of questions right, then it will start glitching and I have to close out of the quiz after a couple of questions. 2. The app needs to run in full screen mode, or at least in one window, it is very annoying having to click between tool bars to activate them. 3. There need to be swipe gestures added or at least perfected in the current version. 4. It would be nice to have multiple "my pins" tabs instead of one long list. 5. There needs to be a way to activate just "my pins" instead of having all pins show up on the model. 6. Pins should stay even when changing the view or adding or taking away layers. Keep up the good work! Hope to see some of these changes in the future!
  • Good images, but...

    By jlrehmann (Pcmac user)

… when you look up a the app, it sometimes places the "pin" indicator on the the app where you can barely view it. I.e. a pin shown from the lateral view when the the app is in full view on the posterior side. When you rotate the image, the pin goes away and you're left guessing. Another the app where this happens is the Trapezius, for example. It shows you the the app from the front of the model, but it's actually a back the app. So that's my first major complaint. Another one is sometimes the thing just glitches and keeps loading image after image in quick succession, and the only way to stop it is to Force Quit the program.
  • Cool App. Needs work.

    By Jason Geymer (Pcmac user)

Positives: -I like the pins, and the detailed information: origin, insertion, action, nerve supply and arterial supply. -I like the ability to rotate the view, even if I have to do it the "slow" way. -I also like the "my pins" feature and the ability to add notes. -It looks great. Negatives: -Freezes frequently during quiz mode. The only way I've been able to finish a quiz is to turn off the bonus scoring timer. It doesn't allow you to review what you've missed after finishing the quiz. -"Quick" Navigation is temperamental; it requires you to click down on trackpad while moving fingers, sometimes it will scroll when you want it to rotate, rotate when you want to scroll and sometimes it just doesn't work at all. -Limited Superior and Inferior views. Superior view only for Pelvis, Inferior views only for Head and Feet.
  • Awkward controls

    By jaredottpope (Pcmac user)

This app is alright, but it is really hard to maneuver, and sometimes the controls are unresponsive. Also, You cannot pick which muscles you want to dissect. You click the scalpel button and it removes a preset layer of muscles. It's a pretty good review other than that.
