What is Real Kakuro?

Real Kakuro is a puzzle game that is similar to a crossword puzzle with numbers. The game has 3000 unique games that can be solved through logic alone. The game provides a fabulous gameplay experience with a clean board and handmade unique challenging games. The game has no locked levels, autosave game, simple menu context, and high definition graphics for iPad, iPhone 4/4s/5 and iPod Touch. A fascinating game, expertly implemented

I’ve been a fan of logic puzzles for most of my life, but I’d never heard of kakuro until recently. After trying it once I was an instant fan. Don’t let the math intimidate you: this is a direct relative of sudoku. Apart from the fairly simple sums, kakuro follows the same basic sudoku-style formula. You establish possibilities and then eliminate the impossibilities. This isn’t the only implementation of Kakuro out there, but it may be the best. this app provides a beautiful, functional interface that doesn’t get in the way of the game itself. It offers optional guidance to completely eliminate the need to solve the addition problems, but this is easily disabled. In short, it’s simple, it’s fun, it’s great.
Starting on my 2nd time through!

Love Kakuro! Used to play this years ago in Games magazine before it went overseas and got renamed. Finished all the levels and have started my 2nd time through the game. This is a well done app and the games are appropriate for each level. The only issue I’ve run into, is that if I play too long without restarting the app, it will suddenly go back to the main screen and appear to have lost all progress on all levels. If I close and restart, everything is fine, but it was heart stopping the first few times it happened. Anyway, I highly recommend this game (and any others from “the app”.) Thanks for the awesome game, guys!!
Great value

I gave this five stars because it deserves it for what you get. There are so many puzzles, you will never run out. It doesn’t ask you for money. I guess there are ads, but they never bother me. I was doubtful they could be challenging enough while still being small enough to fit on the phone, but definitely some of them are. My one big wish: please please please give us an undo button! Sometimes I will discover a flaw in logic after I’ve already made a number of entries based on it. I need the ability to back up several moves because there’s no way to remember everything I need to correct.
Great game, intrusive ads

This is a well written, well laid out, great game, five stars. Four stars off for the really intrusive push of ads and constant suggestions for other games of this shop, including timer which forces one to stare at it for a generous amount of time before it can be clicked away. It even downloads and starts to play commercial videos - from a data plan I pay for?! Also, no settings to regulate what it does? Game does not save scores when in airplane mode to prevent this kind of intrusions. I understand that the maker wants to make money, that's legitimate and not unreasonable. However, other game companies are much more reasonable in their use of ads, they are not pushing. If the game is good, I'll still buy it. In this case I'm so put off that I'll remove the game despite of it's appeal and won't install any other app from this maker again.
