Not so good
By Hyh123 (Pcmac user)
When you start it, it is cool and the UI is excellent.
However, if you used it for a while then suddenly it takes half of the memory and 160% of the CPU. Had to kill it from the terminal or Activity monitor.

Easily most promising timer app
By Myra-n-Moki (Pcmac user)
This is easily the most promising timer application I've tried out. I fount it a little unclear from the documentation exactly how it worked. You can setup a hotkey that will activate creating a timer event. Then you slide the mouse left and right on the screen which will decrease or increase the amount of time that you want a timer to run for. Click and the timer is setup. It really could hardly be any easier to. Its even possible to set a timer to go off at a specific time of day, within 24 hrs of the current time.
The paid version offers some additional features that are probably well worth it, but the free app is not crippled in any way that will make it any less useful for people who just need a good timer app.
The developer seems to be pretty responsive to input on features of the application and I eagerly wait to see the development of this app to see if it'll resolve some of the annoyances that keep it from being perfect. If you need a timer app, you really need to try this out! Then go to his website and provide feedback on features.

Great Timer
By pqkfewjas (Pcmac user)
Works great, though if you want a timer for an hour and a half, you have to set it for an hour and then add the half on when the first timer finishes.

Awesome app
By Fredwbaker (Pcmac user)
I NEVER take time to rate things, but this app is VERY helpful. I have it set to a shortcut-takes 2 seconds to set. It notifies me in the center of screen (non-obtrusive) when it's over. Sounds could be louder, but no worries. I use it while writing to help focus. Highly recommend.
