  • A Handy, Useful App

    By RMac76 (Pcmac user)

I've used Triposo to help plan both of my trips to the app. It aggregates food, lodging and sightseeing information from a variety of sources (including app users) and presents it all in an easy to use, well organized way. It is a handy, useful tool that supplements guides like Rick Steves, Fodor's and Lonely Planet.
  • Great app!!!

    By Abadefghjnmkkd (Pcmac user)

Great app, especially on phone so you can be a more discreet tourist. More places listed then i could imagine visiting in one trip. Great info on places of significance, perfect if you are curios, don't want to carry around a heavy book or pay to go on the Paid guided tours. I favorited places as i visited and now that im back looking at my pictures it has been great for figuring out what church picture is what, or why I took a picture of that particular painting, etc. Great app! No Internet or phone service required, worth a shot for free. Even worth it if you pay for it. I scoured the app store before my the app trip and test several but this was by far better and we used it constantly while on vacation. I don't think you should use it for food suggestions I think that is probably an added bonus but not it's primary function.
  • Surprisingly Excellent Resource

    By RicksterSF (Pcmac user)

I had really low expectations (mostly because most travel guide apps aren’t very helpful) but this app turned out to be really useful. We used it every day. Great maps, sights to see, and best of all were the walking directions which work perfectly off-line. The only complaint I have is that the restaurant and hotel “reviews” are not very helpful as they are not user-rated — you just get your standard guide book restaurant listing. We are spoiled by apps like Yelp, so just use Yelp for actual reviews, but use this app for getting around during your travels.
  • very thorough and informative

    By TigerMO53 (Pcmac user)

There is a lot of information about various sites in the app contained in this app. I've barely begun to learn what there is to know about the destinations I'll be visiting. The only complaint I have is that the cities are not listed alphabetically, which makes you have to scroll through all the included cities of the app just to find the one you're looking for. There is a search option, so I guess you're expected to use that instead of browsing for a destination.
