1. Designed for people of all ages, Math Flash Cards Multiplication is an app that allows the user to practice simple basic multiplication facts or extend the users ability to work out complex multiplication problems up to three digit numbers.

2. If a wrong answer is given by the user, the correct answer is shown before the next problem is given.

Makes math memorization easy

By spending just 3 to 5 minutes per day my children have memorized their the app facts. This is much easier and more effective than traditional flash cards. A big plus to this app compared to some others is that the user enters his answer using a number pad instead of choosing the correct answer from a field of three or four. (Choosing the correct answer from a field is a poor way to train for automaticity and speed in answering.) the children develop proficiency with a number pad, just like with typing, and can enter answers quickly and without processing drain. One suggestion for the app developers: in addition to choosing "highest number" and "lowest number" for problem generation it would be nice to be able to choose which multiplication tables would be targeted. For example: the sixes (6 x1 through 6x12) or the sevens (7x1 through 7x12). Just have a screen where the user can activate any combination of the numbers 1 through 12 and the resultant "deck" would have those multiplication tables. If problems answered wrong were "double weighted" for the remainder of the deck - meaning statistically twice as likely to be presented as other problems - the app would be even more effective.

I wanted an app for my 3rd grade daughter to learn multiplication but I wanted to control what numbers she uses so she doesn't get frustrated as she was learning. This was the only app I found where you can easily do that. Thus it is perfect for my purpose. I ended up upgrading to the ad free version and it's well worth it.

Just what I was looking for. Student must enter answer, not choose the right one mixed in with wrong answers as w other apps. I don't want him to see and remember wrong answers! Also timer is optional. My son didn't want the pressure of timed practice. Glad I found this app!
Good but could be better

Good app. Obviously for education. I use it with my 3rd grader. I wish I could choose the range of one multiplayer versus the other. For instance I want to challenge my daughter by multiplying a 2digit number with a 1 digit number. But I can only put constraints on both numbers in unison.
