To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Capti Voice,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed

Simple and convenient - helps me read on a busy schedule

I’ve been using the app for a few years now, and have used all methods for adding content. I find that copying the url is usually easiest unless there’s a lot of extraneous text at the top or bottom and then I just copy the text I want to be read and paste into the app. I don’t have a lot of time to sit and read articles so it’s nice to load up a playlists for listening while driving, washing dishes, whatever. It’s awesome! I have even loaded up online books from free-book website (like the Chinese light novels that my teen son got me into.) With some books I have to copy multiple urls so that takes a bit of trial and error depending how the book’s pages are set up, but I can load one playlist with all of the pages or chapters in a book pretty quickly and then the book will be read seamlessly from the playlist. Honestly the only thing better would be an app that just reads the page you’re on (not sure that exists for iOS.) 😁👍

Love that I can choose which voice I want to hear, some create problems reading punctuation marks depending on what language you choose, but other language packs read more faithfully despite the accent not being as pleasing. I would love to see the option to edit text after it has been copied into the readable file. Often I listen to literature that cites the source of quotes, and in a reading for comprehension, I don’t care to hear the source, I typically follow along and ignore sources anyways. A slider to skip things within parenthesis would definitely be great, but at the least post production editing, or even live editing while the software reads for me would be fantastic. Thanks for making this available
Excellent software

I've only recently discovered text to speech software's. This app makes it easy to read PDF files on the go. Sometimes I want to review a document before going into a meeting and I can do it discreetly using my phone. I i've noticed the increase in comprehension utilizing text to speech. I have yet to explore the notetaking features. I would recommend trying the software for anyone who feels reading is a little more challenging for them.
New version works but a bit buggy

There is one issue with the current version. Sometimes it jumps backwards and repeats some section over and over. This problem is related to network connection. Once connected, it jumps backward. It seems something is wrong with the sync module... Another issue is that, loading a book requires network connection, because it defaults to uploading the book to website. This feature should be optional.
