  • WOW - one of the worst apps ever

    By Rossintc (Pcmac user)

Hard to believe the app can be worse than their news coverage... if you want to know what is going on inTC, subscribe to the Ticker it’s free and better!
  • Completely non-intuitive

    By Wallmap (Pcmac user)

After having subscription rates rise two times in 3-4 years, the Record Eagles consolation prize was their touting of the e-edition. I've used it in past and I recall it was fairly easy to navigate. Could easily find a certain day and a certain article that could be read, printed or forwarded in an email. Good stuff. Now on vacation out of state and simply want to read about MSU basketball loss. No joy using the search hour glass or trying to find Saturday's edition. Always brings me back to articles a few hours old. PLUS... the app decides to regularly quit and bring me back to square zero (happened twice). Need some simple logical third grade gray matter applied to make this app work and justify our monthly rate. HELP someone!!😢😔
  • Lousy App!

    By KatieinTC (Pcmac user)

When the TCRE "upgraded" their app a few months ago, they lost all credibility as a content provider of any kind. The app is exceptionally buggy and crashes when you click on any article to read. Additionally, they only appear to have national stories while the local stories are buried or nonexistent. Just a terrible, terrible job of providing any kind of good media content. A waste of space and memory.
  • Quick & Simple - and free

    By WinterBill (Pcmac user)

Not that different that the mobile website version, though is quicker, and the listings of stories are longer. And you can share via email, FB & Twitter easily. And it's free - so probably a better experience than the mobile web, not crucial, but a welcome improvement with adde depth.
