Top Pcmac Reviews

  • New and improved

    By Wind2Surf (Pcmac user)

I have been using this app for a few years now to read the paper. The update is really a major facelift that makes using the app so much easier. The only thing that would make it even better is if the paper would allow text to speech function to work within their app.
  • A weak app just got worse...

    By Randall See (Pcmac user)

This was never a great app since it required logging in each time and providing one's user name and password (unlike most apps which remember you once you've loaded it to your desktop). The interface was also clunky and not especially easy to navigate. All that said, the iPad app was much better than reading the paper from a browser and infinitely better than having two pounds of compost dropped on my porch every morning. I used the app for more than a year but then sometime in early July, 2012 it got glitchy and became hard to load. After entering my username and password only a white screen would appear. I deleted the app and reloaded it but the problem persists. As of this writing the app doesn't function at all. I called the DNR office to ask about it and was told there had been other complaints and they are 'working on it.'
