Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Simulator Recorder"
The search will reveal the Simulator Recorder app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Simulator Recorder is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Simulator Recorder.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

Has Promise, But Not There Yet

I really wanted this app to work but alas, I've not been able to get the video capture to work at all (which was my only reason for purcahsing the app). I am completely unable to capture video with sound and if I try to capture anything longer than a 20 second clip, I end up with a damaged, zero length video file. I would have given the app greater than a single star however out of several attempts to contact technical support, all but the very first have gone unanswered. Being a developer in the app store myself, I'm sensitive to the issues that can go into trouble shooting an app remotely and I'm not a person to just run out and write a bad review. However, not even bothering to reply with at least a "we're looking into the issue" is just bad form in my opinion. My purchasing advice: It looks like there is a free, time limited trial version available from the developer's website. I would suggest trying before you buy on this one.

I initially gave this App a 4 star review for 1.4.5 because there were a couple of transient glitches but otherwise the program was great. I've just spent a couple of days with this App making demo videos for my iPad App and SimCap has been flawless. Looks like they fixed the glitches with 1.4.6. This is just a thousand times better than those folks I see pointing a video camera at their iPad! Wouldn't dream of launching an iPhone or iPad App without this.

This is a great way to capture videos from the iOS the app. It includes all the functionality you need, and is extremely simple to use. The captured movies can be used directly in Keynote, emailed, or shared in nearly any other format. They look absolutely great and professional. Totally worth it.
Cure for the Green Screen Blues

Just what i needed. Quickly realized QuickTime wouldn't capture the the app correctly on my new Retina MacBook Pro, just recorded a green screen because it's hardware accelerated. Installed the trial from the website, worked perfectly, purchased. The option to show the mouse as a finger is ideal. Thank you.
