Good but not great

I like this app as a starting point for working with my photos. I would like to see some means of adjusting the image and it really is a 99cent app - expensive at $2.99. It does however render the most creative the app sketch and the only one I've found for the iPad that actually looks hand drawn and not computer rendered.

Best Sketch I have seen...

This is the best sketch I have seen, and that includes many Photoshop plugins. None of them look as realistic as this! I deducted one star because you have to buy the iPad and iPhone versions separate though. It should be a universal app.

Just doesn't work

Purchased to try on an iPad Air for few portrait photos. Application opening screen locks up showing only a blue box with not text. Totally didn't work. I deleted and reloaded with same result. This is way too unstable to be even allowed on iTunes. I feel ripped off for the first time.
