Install Teleprompter Controller app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:

Using Teleprompter Controller on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Teleprompter Controller"
The search will reveal the Teleprompter Controller app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Teleprompter Controller is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Teleprompter Controller.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Teleprompter Controller,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Teleprompter Controller" » then Click "Install".
- Teleprompter Controller will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

✔ Pros:

- The app works as expected

- Can have more than one project and the mobile app can see them

- App response almost in real time

☹ Cons:

- Have to reconnect to the project from within the app after a few minutes

- No updates to the app for some time, suggesting it may have been abandoned

- iPhone app lacks functionality and speed adjuster does not always work

- Teleprompter controller does not work on some iPhones

- App does not work alone and screen is frozen with no functionality

Controller doesn't work

Like other reviewers the Telepromoter controller doesn't work on my iPhones. On my iPhone 6+ it won't even load. I tap the icon but nothing happens. As the last update was in 2011 i wondered whether it hadn't been configured for the 6 so I also tried it on an iPhone 5S. On the latter it loads but it's just an image and none of the buttons work. This app and it's related app Telepromoter version 1.1 are potentially good but are not being maintained. Mr Luke Brody, the developer, is asleep at the wheel. Pity because he has something good here if he'd just keep things up to date.
App for Mac is awesome...app for iPhone, not so much...

The the app software available by this company on the Mac App Store for your Mac is awesome. Truly. Cheap and VERY useful. However, the iPhone app lacks functionality. It's awkward, and 2/3 of the time, the speed adjuster on the iPhone app does not speed up or slow down the momentum of the text on the Mac app. If they can get this fixed....it will be a gem. Until then, two stars is the best it will get from me.

Pros: The app works as expected. I like the fact that I can have more than one project and the mobile app can see them. The app response almost in real time, close enough that most will never see any latency. Cons: After a few minutes I have to reconnect to the project from within the app. I would give 5 stars if the app would just stay connected during my sessions. With no updates to this app for some time now, I’m subject to believe they have abandon this app... Request: It would be nice to set a different speed when going in reverse.
Doesn’t work on it’s own | Waste of money

This app does not work alone. App launches and the screen is frozen with no functionality. Many others with this same issue. This app used to run independently from other apps and with no connection to the internet after initial download (if you didn’t have access to WiFi for example)....why change the product to work differently in a negative way? Strange. Waste of money.
