Download an Android emulator for PC:

Pretty good, needs improvement

BADLY IN NEED OF AN UPDATE! Last one was for iPhone 6 and iOS 8!!! I think they’ve abandoned this app which is too bad because it’s the best one of its kind out there, although it’s in need of updates/improvements. Overall, it's a good timer. I wish it had the following improvements: 1) It should show the release time for penalties along with the countdown timer. There's a lot of blank space on the app; they could easily make space to display this. 2) I don't like the shake-to-reset feature. It's way too easy to do this accidentally if you move your phone and then lose the running time! This should be a button. 3) The sounds for penalty release and end of period should be able to be changed in the preferences. The penalty release sound is a horn that sounds like the end of the period. I'd like to be able to change this and customize the sounds. 4) If either of the team names is seven or eight letters long, it cuts off at six letters. However, if you go to nine or more letters, it changes the font size and displays the whole name. This is obviously a bug and needs to be fixed. If it had these fixes/improvements, it would be awesome.

Awesome app, need running clock toggle

Does everything you need for a normal game. Don't ever want it to track stats, that would have to be done in a separate app. If you've run the clock, you know you don't have time to be tracking other game stats. One feature that needs to be included in the next release is a running clock option. Tournaments or games with 10 goal leads in our youth level utilize a running clock. But the penalty timers need to stop on gameplay stops, yet the game timer keeps going except for timeouts. It would have to be a toggle of some sort. Under 10 goal lead the running clock goes away.

This is a great timer app. If only it would keep track of some basic stats it would be 5 stars. But as far as an easy-to-use game timer this app is perfect. Penalties etc. are a breeze as far as timing, but I wish it would keep a list of the penalties so you have it for stats at the end of the game. Also, it should allow you to indicate releasable versus non-releasable - currently everything is treated as non-releasable so the timer keeps going even after the penalty is released by a goal. Far better than the expensive dedicated timer devices for sale out there.
