The previous reviewer is a bit correct, this is just a fraction of their available content, and you have to pay for this app, along with the following lessons online. However, if you are looking for a good way to get into basic Russian language learning, this is as good a place as any to start. I'm only about a month into my studies, and I just got this app yesterday, and I'm on lesson 4, I can already tell that this will help me a lot, they break each lesson down by the vocabulary and the grammar, and they make everything they teach in the lesson collaborate into the bigger lesson idea. The speakers are very charismatic, and easy to listen to. Perhaps they go off track a little bit of the time, and the guy (Eric) is always trying to flirt with the girl (Ana), to the point where I can't tell if it's a scripted gimmick to make us care about them, but I don't care. I feel that they are good teachers, and sure you have to do a good bit of work on your own, but all in all, I think this is a great app. I haven't tried Rosetta Stone, but I've put some money into other programs and books to study Russian with, and none have worked as well as this one has, so quickly. I look forward to continuing these lessons, and I hope that they will make the Intermediate and advanced lessons on a convenient offline Mac app, for the same price. Wonderful App!

Purchased this application and found it to be very thorough with each lesson. The transcripts, vocabulary, and self-record audio are so useful in getting pronunciation correct. Works flawlessly for me on Snow Leopard with a nice interface. Good job and I hope to see some future expansion of the content in the future!
Bait-And-Switch

perhaps doesn’t perfectly apply here however, I couldn’t be more disappointed. I purchased Chinese, French, and Russian - In my “opinion”, the company’s objective is to generate web traffic to their primary web business by chumming at the App Store. If there was full disclosure at the App Store, they wouldn’t have my money. If that suits someone else e.g. they wish to test drive their language system with a small investment via the App Store...that’s terrific, knock yourself out - the market would have made an informed purchase, but that’s presently impossible with the information currently provided. - I HAVE NO SKIN IN THIS GAME BEYOND THE MONEY I BURNED ON THESE APPS -
