Update screwed things up

The news portion used to be a day by day account of what was happening. Now it's just a long list of articles with a little picture by them. The dining panel is also weird. Before, the hours could be seen on the dining page for each restaurant. Now, even if they haven't opened yet that day, they all say "closed today". On top of that it takes longer to load that page. More wait for faulty information? No thanks
Does anyone else have issues with this app after every IOS update?

I used this app almost everyday until recently. Now all I ever get is an error message saying “error loading items, internet connection appears to be offline.” My friend uses the version for his Galaxy 8 and it works fine. Don’t want to delete it, but it’s become useless to me.
