I am a full time ocean mariner. I originally paid the one time fee for this app for lifetime charts. It is not ok to renig on our deal and wipe my charts. For those paying annually, you may be at sea someday and find that your charts have been suddenly wiped from your device at expiration. It happened to me. This is a severe safety issue and is unethical. I’ve since discovered there are other great chart apps, none charge annually.

This is just one of the apps that exhibit total incompetence in interface design by Navionics. The app does what it is supposed to do but... big time but. If you can’t figure out how to use it, it is garbage. Beta test? Not likely. If so, not done properly.

Wish it wouldn't crash so often

I really like their apps, but they have to work on whatever it is that makes the app crash occasionally. Make sure you save your route and exit once in a while so that you don't loose your work because if it crashes while you are working, all routes that were not saved when you last exited will be gone. Seems like at least it should save the routes when we hit save don't you think. I would also like to be able to turn off some stuff when zoomed out to simplify the views a little bit. It still gets a good review from me because of the affordability of the app. If it didn't crash so often it would get a full 5 stars
