What is OzSun UV Alert?

The OzSun UV Alert app is designed to help users protect themselves from over-exposure to sun UV radiation in Australia. The app fetches and consolidates real-time observed UV levels data from the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency (ARPANSA) and daily UV alerts issued by the Australian Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) based on forecasts. The app uses a color-coded visual display to show the UV index levels, and provides shortcut links to relevant public web pages of these and other relevant agencies, where more information about UV levels for the user’s selected city can be found.
