Download an Android emulator for PC:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use SimplyNoise,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "SimplyNoise" » then Click "Install".
- SimplyNoise - Free White Noise will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

I like this app. I sleep with it (the ocean one is not so great and I wish it were better). I like that you can choose when it shuts down. What I REALLY DON’T LIKE is that you can’t really shut it off! I takes over and plays over the Bluetooth in my car. I want to listen to a book in my car; it blares over my car speakers. I want to watch a video on Facebook; it cuts the sound of the video out. I go to the app and there’s a place where you can shut it down. Nice. Does it REALLY shut down? Nope. It automatically starts up again (same as Apple’s stupid ::))&&($$&& music app. I’m a musician but sometimes I want quiet. I don’t ALWAYS want music... or noise. Who designs these apps that think they know better. Let me turn them OFF, not pause them. The only way is to delete the whole app and then reinstall when you want to use it... EXCEPT the native Apple apps that you CAN’T DELETE. Is Apple run my mindless Generation XYZ-millennials?

Lost my old brown noise MP3 a while ago–you’d be surprised at how difficult it is to find a quality file. However, this app goes above and beyond my most hopeful expectations: you can actually customize your own blend of white, pink and brown noise, each playing simultaneously. I never even imagined this being an option. And the sound comes through totally clear and without distortion, even at high percentages and high volume. Simply wonderful for someone such as myself who is an extremely light sleeper. This is one of the only times I have ever bothered to write an app review and it is because I am just that grateful for the quality of what this sound app has to offer. Fantastic.
Great white noise app

I need white (or pink/brown etc.) noise to sleep in hotel or guest rooms, but I always had trouble finding a simple one with good noise frequencies, rather than like looping nature sounds. This one is perfect, and I love the timer. I do wish they would add one more deeper humming type frequency that sounds like the noise on an airplane or air conditioner. Also, they need a reset button so you can revert back to the default after messing around with the percentage of frequencies. If they add those, it would be a strong 5 for me.

I am so thrilled this app has finally been revitalized!!! I was genuinely worried is wasn’t coming back. Offering access to different frequencies is brilliant! I love the lower frequency; it is incredibly relaxing. I haven’t found another sound app that offers such high quality, high fidelity audio. Best background noise generator in the App Store! UPDATE 5/4/18: I purchased both the this app and the SimplyRain app back in 2012 on my iPhone. I just got a new iPad and have downloaded the new this app app but it will not allow me to access the SimplyRain feature without paying again. The ‘restore purchases’ option in the app settings has effect. How can I access what I have already paid for?
