Software Features and Description

1. With this app installed, your iPhone can serve as a remote control for the iPad apps "2Screens - Presentation Expert" or "2Screens LE" for switching among slides/tabs, moving the ‘laser pointer’, as well as enabling/suppressing display on the external screen when the iPad is connected with a projector or LCD monitor.

2. In this regard, the app works on iPhone 3G/3GS/4/4S/5 and 3rd/4th/5th generation iPod Touch which support Bluetooth 2.1. In addition, this app can also be run on all iPad models in case you would like to use iPad as a remote controller for another one.

3. 2Screens Remote communicates with the iPad presentation apps through Bluetooth.

4. This app is NOT a general-purpose remote control for other iPad apps as it only works with the 2Screens apps.

5. The app is provided as an universal app just in case somebody may like to use an iPad as a remote control.

6. The app auto-disable idle timer when bluetooth connection is established so as to prevent losing connection with the Presentation app.

7. Please note that this app cannot be used on first generation iPhone and first／second generation iPod Touch.

8. There is an integrated speaker timer for keeping track of presentation duration.

9. Starting from v1.6, Wi-Fi connection is supported.

Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:

For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »

Fabulous App!

I used this app on my iPod Touch to control my the app presentation on my iPad for a 3-hour workshop this past week. The participants, other faculty, were VERY impressed! I asked the developer for this app a little over a month ago, because I wanted an app for my iPod Touch to control the app on my iPad in a university classroom. I also wanted an app with Bluetooth connection because getting my iPod Touch to find my iPad on a university WiFi network with hundreds of other users (students and faculty), would not work. This app is far better than my PowerPoint remote clicker. With this app, I can jump to any slide with just a tap on the number pad, then tap the page button. With a PowerPoint remote clicker running PowerPoint on a classroom PC, I would always have to walk back to the computer to click on a hyperlink to jump forward 2-3 slides or back more than 1 slide. Now I can be standing anywhere in the classroom and jump to any slide! A great BIG "thank you" to the developer from a most satisfied customer!!! When one of my workshop participants asked how I found this app, I bragged about how I had asked the developer for it and got it. :-)

I have moved to using this along with my ipad for presentations whenever possible. I like having the small preview. The new screen for the laser pointer is nice, in that the little preview slide is larger now. I like being able to control tabs and bookmarks from the phone too. It's great to have a paired app like this - too often in classrooms and at conferences, the projector is too far from the speaking area to best use the iPad for a presentation tool. This app fixes that. Also, email support is great - fast and useful.

Same as my review on the the app, the 2ScrRemote app is an absolute gem for people who want to make presentation with iPad and iPhone. It is so much quicker to set up, shut down when you have limited time in customer office - yet very professional and not sacrificing functionalities. Wish list: - If possible, it would be great to have an option to turn on preview of slides in the 2ScrRemote. I understand for iPhone, it might be small but my presentations often require lots of discussion thus the need to jump to various slides while I am moving around the room. - Option to change the size / shape of the "laser" (i.e. larger filled red dot, or just a variable-sized red circle to highlight portion of the slide, etc) Highly recommended this app and the app. Thanks Edwin!

This remote worked right away, as promised, with their other the app presentation product. I Installed the this app on my iPhone 4 and it effectively allowed me to click from slide to slide on my iPad. My main reason for purchasing the iPad was to use if for presentations but the lack of a remote really crippled that ability. This is the product I have been waiting for and dreaming of. It will be great for professors and other types of presenters.
