What is it about so-called success that turns people who once cared about quality into people who only care about money? In my opinion, it is weakness; some people are not strong enough to overcome the judgement-clouding effect of profit. Once a person is blinded by greed, they have lost their integrity, and are no longer deserving of respect. When you betray your own principals, you betray those who once trusted you. You have turned your back on what is important, somehow believing that the money you make (or think you will make) can be taken with you beyond your grave. In a twisted way, you see yourself as immortal, and can no longer envision your own insignificance. Charging 4 times what a game is worth, just because it is temporarily popular, is a symptom of this delusional thinking. You see more and more of this throughout the App Store. In-app purchases are a good example of this. The lust for money has led developers to not be satisfied with simply selling a good product for a fair price; it is even influencing the way games are designed (e.g., engineering extra difficulty into a game to frustrate customers into reaching for their wallets). Sure, this kind of game is fun, but I will never buy anything from this company because they have lost their way. Their business practices have changed for the worst, and all one can hope is that the people responsible are fired, or resign in shame for ruining the reputation if this once respectable company.

This game is decent. I downloaded this to see if it was worth the price in the OpenFeint fire sale. It has a more japanese feel then say Warblade, StarCannon or BusterRed, but basically the same feel. Those games are far cheaper. It's on sale now for 5 dollars from 9. I'd buy it if it were 1 or 2 but considering the level of games you can get for that price compared to this one, that's a No Way! For those of you who like it only for it's Anime influence then it's probably the game for you. I will continue to keep this free version and wait for the price to drop to 1 or 2 dollars then I will get it. This game is definitely worth it for that price. And they would probably get a much greater response if the price was more reasonable.

There's mo way this game can run above 30 FPS on anything other than 3GS and Touch 3G with the amount of sprites appear on the screen at same time. If Cave made this game playable on iPhone 1G/2G or iPod Touch 1G/2G this game will fail badly due to unplaybale frame rate. The amount of bullets and gold are incredibly crazy even my 3GS gets a slight frame rate drop when the entire screen are covered by them. This demo doesn't really give a good experience. You can get some by trying the 2nd Control option rather tham Simplified.

This is a good port of a great game. If you play shooting games for score than you will find plenty of challenge here. Frankly the scoring system is so complex only a minority will actually understand it, and that is the games greatest negative. However there is still plenty of fun to be had for those who want to attempt to 1cc (1 credit clear) this, especially on an iPod.
