  • Great App, But Sound Doesn’t Work?

By Band Director at a HS (Pcmac user)

I use this app regularly, but recently found the sound no longer works. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but have the same issue. Any ideas? Other background apps closed and I’ve tried restarting the iPad too. Volume is up and sound works in other apps. Thanks! This app also doesn’t seem to load via the iPad “recent app” shortcuts.

  • Fingering for iPad

    By jh-evergreen (Pcmac user)

Stellar application! I'm using it for bassoon as an adult. I see that it has great value for learning the fingerings on many instruments - especially as a teaching tool for my daughter as she picks up saxaphone as her second instrument. To make it even more valuable for end users, I would suggest that you add a scale practice mode with the ability to vary tempos. For example, fingerings for each note on any instrument would be shown both in this app and in musical notation for a student to practice the shifts from note to note on the instrument they are playing. Perhaps you might add a randomizer function within the scale would be particularly valuable as a practice tool for practicing this app changes - perhaps even adding chord changes to make it purposeful as an improvising tool tool. Keep up the good work!
