Download an Android emulator for PC:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Grupio"
The search will reveal the Grupio -Conference & Event App app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Grupio is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Grupio.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Grupio,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Grupio" » then Click "Install".
- Grupio -Conference & Event App will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

This was our first experience using this app for our conference. About half of the attendees downloaded the app. I heard nothing but positive comments about it from those who did. A few without smartphones actually used the mobile app on their laptops. Fortunately the app was relatively stable during the conference. It still needs a little work to keep it from locking up causing you to delete and reload the app. Overall it was worth the investment to set up and create the content. I wish there was an easier way to convert our block schedule that we use for the printed program to the template that this app requires. It was a lot of work to create nearly 400 session entries. We will definitely use it again for next year’s conference.

Great idea but...

Great idea but keeps crashing (on a 4G). Also when I tap on the plus sign to try to open up a poster track in order to see the posters themselves, it keeps thinking I meant to tap the right arrow and instead opens up the details for the poster track entry (I.e., useless). Very very frustrating!
