  • Just barely useful.

    By Shibrah (Pcmac user)

Sure it gives you the ratings for most things but that’s kind of where the usefulness stops. For instance, “chick fil a” rightfully has a 0 rating. But clicking “find alternatives” gives you an entirely unhelpful list of everything food related. Including candy bars. There should be a better tagging and organization system. Also the category “engages in actions that would harm the LGBTQ community” is 0 for everyone. Shouldn’t this put some people - like chick fil a - in the negative instead of just 0?

Thank you the app for creating this great app. I have to say, some companies on the list surprised me and I'll change my shopping habits because this list. The app could be easier to use; it's not the best design. But it gets the job done.
  • Updating takes a while and remember to read each score card!!!

    By tempestoftime (Pcmac user)

The update once you open the app takes a while, but it should finish in about 5 minutes. Mine did anyway. If you get to 10 minutes and it hasn't finished, and you're using wireless, not just 3G, then I'd say something's wrong with the app. Try deleting it and reinstalling. Some of the ratings are inaccurate in the app. For example, under restaurants Bob Evans is listed as only having a score of 15 (which is a very low score), but when you click to view the full score card it says they have a lot more positive points! When added up their score should be 85, putting them in the green section. I don't know whether the score card is wrong or the calculation and thus placement on the list is incorrect, but if you're looking into a certain brand read the score card before dismissing it as bad if it's in the red zone. the app, look into fixing this for the next update.
  • An eye opener

For someone just figuring out business and politics. This is an awesome app! Now I can see who fighting for equality locally and who isn’t! I definitely recommend
