Install SuperMemo (old) app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using SuperMemo (old) on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "SuperMemo (old)"
- The search will reveal the SuperMemo (old) app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once SuperMemo (old) is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including SuperMemo (old).
- Now enjoy SuperMemo (old) on PC.

Astonishing app!

Do yourself a huge favor and get this app! It's got a few problems, yes, but they are inconsequential compared to what this app will do for you! In a word, using this app means you will never again forget anything you will need to remember! (Students, are you listening?) I haven't bothered to buy any of the lessons (the French is pitiful!). I just use the free app and create my own files. If you're a student, make a separate file for each of your courses. The program will make sure you know the material, and then will come back to refresh your memory at ever increasing intervals of time. If you screw up, then you're immediately back to daily drills until the program feels you can be trusted. I'm a French teacher and recommend this to all my students--and I use it daily for my own learning. (An additional plus is that you'll never have boring moments or down-time: Standing in line at the bus stop? supermarket? traffic jam? Whip out the app and learn something!)

Not as good as the Palm version

I was user of the Palm version of super memo by Mapletop software. It was a very comprehensive flash card program and it used sophisticated methods to help you memorize words but the best part was you could create your own flashcards easily on your computer and then import them into super memo. Very long lists of words could easily be created and then imported it made it very nice you could create various categories for your words and I found it very useful. It seems as if there is no connection between the Palm the app and this iPhone or iOS the app and that seems to be a bit of a loss to me. Something should really be done or made more apparent by them to show us how to make long lists of words easily entered into this program.
