Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Better World Shopper"

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

- Login to the PlayStore we just installed

Frustrating

I have an older copy of the print the app World Shopping Guide, but I don't carry it with me, so it doesn't do much good except for those few things I memorize. And even then, I am frustrated by the lack of information as to WHY things are rated as they are. I hoped this app would give at least as much info as the book, and perhaps more... that WHY that would allow me to tell businesses why I am or am not spending with them. But unfortunately, the app offers even less than the book. Plus, as the other reviews mention, you can't look things up by category... so if I want to find the best gas station, bank or grocery store, I must look up each one individually. And it is worse once you get to a store… You have to look up each brand individually. I very much hope someone dedicated and capable is working on this app to make it more useful. It is needed! Unfortunately, as it is now, the app is frustrating more often than helpful.

I've been a fan of the the app World Shopping Guides for a long time and have made changes to my choices as a consumer because of you. It's great to be able to make the most ethical purchases possible, based on my budget, with these ratings. And now, I've got the guide in my pocket! Thanks. Of course, more detailed comments on each company (as in the book), would be nice. And, somehow Pretzels and Nuts have ended up under Pet Care. Might want to fix that.
dissappointed that categories have been removed from app

I have been using the book and app for a few years and was really excited for the long awaited update. unfortunately, i can no longer search by categories, making the app almost useless when shopping. in fact, i dont plan on updating my iphone unless categories becomes available. i really hope that this functionality is returned to the app, even if it requires an additional charge. for me, the whole purpose of the app was to be able to leave the book at home. 5 star app, once i can search by categories. thanks!!!!

This is an essential guide I use constantly, as there are no other guides like it. The recent update makes it even the app than the book. You can now search by category or brand, and it is updated to 2017.
