This is perhaps the best the app chess app for the iPhone. For sure, it allows you to save games for review. Another valuable tool is its provision for setting up positions. Also nice is it’s multiple skill levels.

The computer is really good at countering your strategies so I would recommend this game to people who really appreciate the game and capable of playing good chess. Graphics and controls are all great. Multiple languages and helpful tools such as hints, back move, foward move, history or movements, and timer.
Good, could be more polished

After playing (western) Chess With Friends, I guess I got a little spoiled with the user interface. I would suggest adding animation between moves and for viewing past moves, and a submit button to confirm the move so you can see what the board would look like before committing. Also, the pieces are a little small. And I don't know what posture is! The killer feature would be a "with friends" option. I would get my friends to buy it then. For what it is, the app is still good to practice and learn strategy.
