1. 1859 was the beginning for all three elements when the Clock Tower was completed, the Great Clock started on 31 May and the Great Bell’s chimes were heard for the first time on 11 July.

2. During 2009, the UK Parliament celebrated the 150th anniversary of its world famous Clock Tower, Great Clock and Great Bell.

3. The name Big Ben is often used to describe the tower, the clock and the bell but the name was first given to the Great Bell.

4. Have your iPhone (or iPod Touch) display the time of day in style.

5. NB Sounds will only play through earphones on 1st gen iPod Touch.

6. In particular to Dave, whose persistence finally motivated us to release this new version.

Using Big Ben on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Big Ben"
The search will reveal the Big Ben app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Big Ben is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Big Ben.
Now enjoy Big Ben on PC.

this app is my favorite attraction in the whole world. I was saddened when I could not hear him when I came to London back in 2017. I used this app as a church theme, and have the chimes as a ringtone. Thank you for this. I know I sound stupid, but this app is probably one of the best reasons I have an iPhone. He’s like an old friend...long story 😭😭😭 I hope this app continues onward!

Helps me keep track of time, esp when gaming or doing other work, but just like the previous reviewer, I really wish there was a way to schedule 'silent time' in the app! The two images is a nice touch, but it'd be even nicer if there were more pictures for it to (automatically) choose from!

The chimes are beautiful, but can you please consider making the quarter chimes optional? Sometimes I really just want chimes on the hour

I thought you were still supposed to hear the chime when your phone is on but not in use? If I would of known that it only works when the app is open I would not of bothered. 😕
