  • Excellent resource

    By Tsnewt (Pcmac user)

I’m an acute care NP working in a cardiology practice for twenty years. the app interpretation is something I do multiple times each day. I like to have reference resources and I think I’ve tried most all of those available from the App Store. this app remains my go to for its accuracy and clarity.
  • Please Update

As a Physician Assistant I find it offensive PA is not one of the professional options listed when signing up for the app. I interpret EKG’s daily... I really wanted to try this app, but instead will be deleting it.
  • Satisfied!

    By Hunny Munkee (Pcmac user)

I found this app to be very useful whenever I come across a rhythm that I'm having some trouble interpreting. I'm an ER nurse and this has become a valuable tool for me. I highly recommend this app to those who work on the floor or in the field as a quick reference but of course people have to understand that interpreting an EKG rhythm strip is based on certain criterias; rate, regularity, length of PRI, QRS, etc. You don't just look at how the waves look like to categorize a rhythm. Even seasoned nurses make that mistake. Doctors too. You can show a rhythm strip to a bunch of docs and nurses and don't be surprised if each one of them has a different interpretation from each other. It takes a lot of practice to be able to identify rhythms. Like I said, it's good to have this app handy as a reference especially when you feel like you need to back up your interpretation of an EKG strip.
  • Very nice ecg app

    By joemeyer (Pcmac user)

There are several the app apps and this is my favorite. It had tons of content and the app examples. It can help you learn to read ecgs or to read them better. I bought the in app purchase "Qx the app Analyzer" to check it out. It adds to the usefulness of the app and is only 99 cents (I would have preferred though it be part of the original purchase). It asks you a few questions then offers suggestions as to what the rhythm might be. I will do a walk through: Heart Rate? <100 bpm or >100 bpm (these are buttons and you select one, I chose >100) QRS Width? <120 msec or >120 msec (I chose >120) Regular? Yes or No (I chose No) Then it shows "Candidate Rhythms" with Atrial Flutter at the top (with links to learn more or see samples of A Flutter) and also shows a differential diagnosis with links for other rhythms to consider. Once I was looking at an the app with the iTouch turned sideways and I could not exit this the app without quitting the app. I have not been able to replicate this issue again but it was just a minor annoyance in an otherwise stellar app.
