I don't purchase too many app's but I couldn't pass this one up. If you are on the fence, buy it, you won't regret it. I've also found an alternative method of performing the trick if you have trouble with the recommended french drop. Follow all the other instructions setting up the screen shot and choosing your coin, but what you can do is avoid the grinding in part and pre-swipe it while it is in your pocket. That way when you pull it out, you will have the coin rolling around in there and you use the line "Don't you hate it when you leave loose change in your pocket an it gets stuck in your phone!" Have the actual coin behind the phone and shake it out like normal. Voilà, a non french drop approach to this trick.

I have this app and the card2phone (c2p) app. Although the c2p has more features and versatility, i find this app more dependable than c2p. This app is more stable and you don't have to worry about flashing. Even with the shake sensitivity setting set at the lowest rate on the c2p, the coin can accidentally reappear with very little hand movement after you apparently extracted the coin from the screen. Then again, it can be attributed to lack of practice. I like the feature that you can customize your own coin to use on this app. I been using it and showing the effect whomever I come across.

As a magician I'm always looking for a clever illusion and it seems the more simple and easy they are, the more effective they tend to be. Such is the case here. To make this trick convincing you do need to master the french drop which is a simple slight of hand technique used in many close-up tricks and which he goes over in the included video. It's not difficult but takes practice to do well. The app does the rest automatically to give you a really impressive illusion. It's especially miraculous to spectators who know little about the capabilities of the iphone. Highly recommended!

Marty you just made 6 bucks and my night. i bought this app and impressed my kids and wife. my middle daughter spotted the coin so she ruined it for the youngest child. BUT! my oldest (19 year old blonde) daughter was amazed!!! i did the trick at least 10 times and she was still saying "oh my god!" once i explained it to her, she immediately bought the app too. the most fun i've had in a while is watching my daughter try to do the slight of hand part. hilarious! good job on the app and congrats on getting mine and then my kid's dough.
