I downloaded this app to enjoy looking at artwork with my 6 year old daughter. Imagine, however, my shock when I wanted to show her some work by the impressionists, and did a search for Manet. Yes, most of the images were by the french painter, Edoard Manet, but the third image is Jeff Koons' "Manet" which is a photograph of the naked artist giving oral sex to his porn-star ex-wife Cicciolina. There is another Koons photograph with the same title on the first screen with the search results that is also very pornographic. I'm no fan of censorship, and really don't have issue with most nudity in artwork, but these photographs (and others by Koons featured in this app) are way too sexually explicit for them to be accessible to kids. I urge the authors of this app to post a notice to let parents know that these kinds of images exist in this app.

So didn't have a huge problem with the occasional questionmark instead of the app, the less then great quality of the images, the overall mediocre showing of artists and peices, but now I have a problem. If you can't spend the time to get the proper name for an artwork, when ALL you're doing is showing the app, it's just insulting. "oh, they won't know, it's just an old painting" The lack of respect for your audience, the artwork and the artist is infuriating. Just so you know, the only peice you have by Draper is NOT "Lament for Icarus" it's "Ulysses and the Sirens"... Thus there are sirens in the painting and not women weeping over a dead Icarus. Honestly people. Have some integrity!

Great app. Really depressing about many of the.. um beings who are expressing their paranoia about the human body though. You must live in a really terrible and ugly world of your own making. Anybody who read through the reviews for the horror show glimpse of what is in the heads of some people who would censor the app for the rest of us.. Don't fall for the apparent little kid who was so scared of seeing a naked person. That was a troll doing a laughable attempt to garner pity. That was no child. It takes time for your parents to make you that sick in the head.

This is a great application to familiarize you with the app since you can quickly browse the gallery. There is no delay to load images. I appreciate that it is free. I am amazed that anyone would leave a bad review because there is nudity in the the app. If you are not mature enough to know that the app contains nudity and that there is nothing wrong with that, then you are too young to use a phone; nobody made you download the app. You should take up your grievance with da Vinci, Michelangelo, Boticelli, Reuben, Degas, and Picasso. Many thanks to the developer!
