Great animation-Best ASL iphone program, but NEEDS Quiz Mode

This program is probably the best ASL program in the app store right now. While it is very expensive-the animations are well done. Many other programs only use images or drawings of the signs with arrows to show movement. This program actually shows you the movement animated. It would have been a 5 star review except for a few small issues. The first and the biggest is the lack of a quiz mode. A quiz mode would improve recognition of signs. For a lot of hearing students it's easy to learn and use the signs, but much harder to recognize them when being signed to. Second the library is organized alphabetically a search function would be a big plus with 1200 signs listed. Also while 1200 signs is a huge collection of signs my hope is that there will be additional signs added as updates.

There are not enough signs. You supposedly pay for 1200 words, but a large number of them are fingerspelled. That's no help. Animating a fingerspelled word is a waste of iPhone memory and my time. Great memory jogger, though. I would appreciate VCom3d offering a larger vocabulary of *real signs*, perhaps as an upgrade or add-on. --Gil
