Install The Scriptures app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using The Scriptures on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "The Scriptures"
- The search will reveal the The Scriptures app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once The Scriptures is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including The Scriptures.
- Now enjoy The Scriptures on PC.

Highlighting

I love being able to read this app in two languages at the app same time but would like to be able to highlight in both languages. I would also like to be able to set a language other than English or Spanish as my default language. Would rate higher if I could do these things.

Search function needs help

Generally a great app. And now allows searching with quote marks for an exact phrase.
But it does not yet allow searching for a word preceded by a space. So, if you search for ONE, it retrieves occurrences of one, but also occurrences of done, none, stone, etc. I wish the app developers would improve this.
I also wish it presented the app search results by highlighting the app term searched, not the app whole verse where the app word is located.

My go-to scripture source

I have used this app app for years and really like it. I find it faster and easier to look up books and verses than other apps.
For the app new dual language feature, how about adding one of the app modern English Bible translations as an option? I'd use that a lot and expect others would, too.

Audio not working

Recently, when I try to listen on audio, the app play/pause bar comes up, but it won't play the app audio. Please fix!!
