What is My Little Universe? My Little Universe is a casual world-building adventure game that allows players to create their own planet by mining, crafting, logging, digging, smelting, construction, and gardening. The game features 15 different types of resources, 8 levels of pickaxe upgrades, 8 types of weapons, and 10 different types of in-game environments. Players must also fight off 8 different kinds of monsters to protect their divine plan.

Game Features and Description

1. • As civilization develops under your watchful eye, you’ll have the chance to set up industrial facilities to smelt metal, process minerals and make a further eight types of weapon that will help you in your divine crafts, including an ax with eight different levels of improvement and the unique Excalibur sword to strike the fear of god into your monstrous opponents.

2. It takes mining, crafting, logging, digging, smelting, construction and a little gardening to make the perfect planet, and you’ll have to do all that while fighting off primeval monsters intent on bringing an end to your divine plan.

3. Get mining, amass 15 different types of resources and spend them with infinite wisdom to create a beautiful planetary paradise that can bask in your divine benevolence.

4. • Thor has his hammer, Neptune has his trident, and in this game you have a mighty pickaxe that’s just as adept at fighting off monsters as it is at breaking rocks, digging for minerals and mining for gold.

The game is fun but it gets way too grindy

I’m going to be honest, judging by the ads that I saw I thought this was another piece of crap mobile game that took someone 30 minutes to make in unity that is riddled with ads, skins that cost real money, and sPeCiAl dEaLs that are a plague to the App Store. But after I downloaded it, I fell in love with it. I loved it’s simplistic gameplay, it’s satisfying nature, and the graphics. After a few days though, the game became less and less fun. And not just because after a bit the fun wears off but the game gets way too much of a grind to play that just makes it a chore to play and to build your world. Like everything costs so much material that I have to watch a bunch of ads to get supplies to that I don’t always have the ability to get or spend the next 15 minutes slowly getting enough supplies to add one square to the world. Also to upgrade your weapons, you need gold bars, gold coins, and steel bars and some other things but making steel bars take wayyyyyyy too long. And I don’t want to watch a million ads just so I can cut out down a tree. Overall, I loved the game but the keyword there is loved. I don’t like it anymore because it’s no longer the stress reliever that I used on breaks. It now adds to that stress and prevents me from enjoying that break so just don’t play it anymore.
Good but bugs

Fun game. I enjoy playing. It does get grindy at times, but afk farming isn’t too hard to overcome that. However there are a couple bugs I noticed. On Planet 3, I gathered all three keys but the gate for the ax only took two, and the third disappeared. So I never got that ax. Next, on Planet 7 (why is it called planet 7? What happened to 4, 5, and 6?) the NPCs were rescued, stood next to their “stands” (idk what to call them) but they never unlocked. So, I lost out on an ax, and whatever those two NPCs were for (more armor upgrades I’m guessing? Sword upgrades too maybe?). Please fix these bugs. I would LOVE to be able to start the game all the way over and be able to get the app ax and all the app planet 7 upgrades!!! Also, I hope more planets get added. It only takes like a week to play through the whole game. And then there’s nothing left to do. Maybe developers could also add some kind of quests? Daily, weekly, etc quests? Just throwing that idea out there. I don’t expect devs to actually read this one review but maybe if a enough other people have mentioned the same bugs and made the same suggestions something will get done? I really really REALLY wanted to give this 5 stars, because it is fun and a pretty cute universe… but the bugs and then not having anything to do at end game are pretty big issues for me!
A mobile game that stands out from the rest!

This is one of the best free games on mobile. It is very well made and has a great pace. There are a few people complaining about the ads but, they only happen occasionally when you get more land and are skippable after about 5 seconds. You also have the option to watch ads for material, which isn’t that awful in the app opinion. It took me about 11-12 hours to open both portals and that is with watching most of the optional ads along with just upgrading as needed. The only things i would recommend 1. Optional purchase to remove ads 2. A tighter cluster of trees in a section of the 3rd world kinda like what they did for stone in the coal mine. 3. The ability to upgrade the material cutting machines or at the very least better ones in new areas you find. This game really does not disappoint. I’m ready for the new world and in the mean time i’ll be upgrading the app gear.
Fun game but has problems.

So first off let me say I do think this is a pretty entertaining game. I played it for quite a few hours each day for the first several days I had it. But here are the app problems with this game. You basically have to watch ads to upgrade things or get enough resources. Kind of annoying but ok t’s a free game. You can pay to remove ads but it seems to expensive at $6 bucks considering there isn’t a ton of content. Aside from watching ads for resources they also just randomly pop up when you open up new tiles. Kinda annoying but ok. Another thing is that the game lags often when gathering resources or fighting several enemies. Kinda annoying but ok. I was willing to push through all those things until this next one kept happening. I would watch an ad, either by choice or random pop up, but then the ad would freeze and I could not return to the game. I would have to completely close the game and start it back up. Problem is is that it then starts you back at the beginning. It became a major pain. To much so that I didn’t want to play the game anymore. So for now I’m done. Fix some of these issues and I’ll give it another shot.
